Brightscreen® Camera Loaner and Rental Terms And Conditions
Leases are also available to qualifying customers (please inquire).
 
We offer loaner cameras at no charge (except for current SHI charges) for our camera customers for one year from the date of purchase if factory warranty service is required. After a one year period rental cameras are available at 25% discounts for customers requiring service for cameras purchased from us.
 
Rentals cameras do require a deposit equal to the current replacement value of the camera and local pickup or current SHI charges. Local pick up, and deliveries to TN residents are subject to current state sales and or use taxes.
  1. Rental day: Is from 9:30 am to 10:00 am the following day, except that rentals picked up after 2:00 pm will be billed from 9:30 am the following day.
  2. Weekend rental: Friday 2:00 pm to Monday 10:00 am is charged for one day.
  3. Rates: The rates listed are the base rates, which apply to the first day only. Additional days are charged at 50% of the base rate. Weekly is 3 times the base rate.
  4. Late returns: Equipment returned after 10:00 am will be charged an additional rental fee of 50% of the base rate.
  5. Equipment condition: All equipment is examined and tested prior to each rental. We have examined and tested the equipment to be loaned or rented and found it to be in proper working condition. Any problems with the equipment must be reported immediately on arrival to be considered for adjustment.
  6. Suitability: It is the customer’s responsibility to determine that the rented equipment is suitable for his or her needs and that it is compatible with any equipment that will be used with it. The customer is solely responsible for any damage to his / her equipment and to the rental equipment due to such incompatibilities.
  7. Liability: The customer is solely responsible for loss or damage of rental equipment while it is in his or her care. Customers are urged for their own protection to promptly insure equipment against theft and damage through every phase of the loan or rental. 
  8. Loss or damage: Customer agrees to assume full responsibility for all  equipment, and also agrees to compensate the full replacement value should said equipment to be lost, stolen, damaged or missing.
  9. Return of cameras: The acceptance of loaner or rental equipment upon return is not a waiver of any claims for damages found after the return.
  10. Security deposit: A 100% deposit of the replacement value of the equipment to be rented is required. The deposit must be received by Credit Card, cashiers check or cash.
  11. Availability: The availability of all cameras is always subject to our supply.
